  8. The Hunger games is a really interesting book, that takes place in a somewhat futuristic world. In the story we see the action from the perspective of the main character Katniss. Early on in the story Katniss volunteers herself to save her sister from going to the hunger games, the hunger games is a so called games that the capitol city takes one boy and one girl from each district (1-12) and make them fight to the death. When this happens she goes on a journey to save her life, and the one person who she came with,

This book is amazing, It has a plot that'll keep you reading. The action and the detail are superb, And the ending is never given away, she doesn't make the book obvious, and boring. The only thing that I don't like is she left it a Cliffhanger, Otherwise an amazing read you should check it out.

  9. Wow, futuristic huh? Futuristic sounds good. I should definitely read that one. Besides, what you have said about the plot already makes me want to read it.

  10. Sometimes Cliffhangers bore me, but this one sounds really good. I also like books with amazing detail and action so I might check this book out sometime.

  13. River Thunder is a book about these people going down a river white water rafting in the grand canyon. The book describes the trials and difficulties they have and how they overcome them. The book is the sequel to down river.

The book is boring, Thats the only way to describe it, events are predictable, characters feel bland, and after everything i was left saying I care why. The book is not a great book i'd recomened you not read it.

  14. well now, that makes 2 out of 4 books that you've blogged on bad (3 out of 5 if you count flipped). Maybe you should stop picking the bad ones... However I'm not quite sure i shoud belive you. You said that The Book Thief was horrible too and I liked that one...

  17. The house of scorpion is a book that takes place in a futuristic mexico and united states. Mexico or also known as opiom is a country full of ruthless drug lords that are willing to do anything it takes to make and have a profit.

The main plot of the story is you follow around a dude named matt. matt is a clone of a drug lord el patron and is his exact copy, little does matt know hes more than just another person he has a meaning and can he escape his fate in time.

This book is touching brilliant but is not quite there yet, its great but not fantastic. the idea of the book is great and i loved all the characters. the setting is good and everything is perfect besides one thing and that is pacing of the book. the book is very fast at some places but other points its a little slow thats my only complaint and its a small one. there needs to be more books like this its not the usual lets kill everyone book. its definitely worth at least trying sometime.
