In the book Haunted Campers by Allan Zullo, campers are haunted by strange ghost. The scary thing about this book is that it is based on true events. After about 15 pages or so, you'll find yourself at a new short story. There is around 10 stories in all and they might not make much sense in the beginning but in the end they all come together. At the end of each story you'll be like oh now I see. I recommend this book to anyone who likes books like goosebumps and other books like that. I would read this book if i were you because now you can really believe in ghosts.
This book sounds really interesting especially when you said that it is based on true events. I like books that are true and I might check this one out.
In the book Maniac Magee by Jerry Spinelli, an interesting orphan becomes a legend in his town. Maniac is his name and his parents died when he was a little kid. Maniac never went to school and all day he just runs non stop. He is only ten and he can punt a football further then the star high school quarterback can trow one. Maniac is so talented, he unties an impossible knot and even hits a bunt for a home run. Maniac goes from home to home and will always be remembered in his town. This is an interesting book, especially for people who like a good adventure story. I would highly recommend this book to anyone.
I am reading The House of the Scorpion and so far it is very interesting. It is about an orphan in a strange world of clones and Matt is the main kid who is having an adventure.
